Daren Martin plays saxophone around Brisbane, and he'll tell you the solo work suits him best. He's been in plenty of bands over the years, but on his own there's more room to say something. Jazz is the heart of it. He likes to improvise, chase an idea mid tune and see where it lands, which is why no two sets come out quite the same. Good fit for a cocktail hour, a wedding, a corporate evening or a private function where you want real playing rather than background wallpaper.
