Dave Gray

Dave Gray started drawing faces at school, mostly as a way of getting left alone, and kept at it through military service where the range of faces around him became the interesting part. In the 1980s he was driving interstate express coaches for Greyhound and sketching the mugs of workmates and bosses. Two decades of caricaturing since then has taken him through corporate events, weddings, social nights and, yes, funerals. His work is black and white on A3, and every drawing goes out in a protective sleeve. Bookings run a minimum of two hours. He's based in Perth.
