Television, radio and stand-up have run together through Dave Thornton's career since an early acting role on the ABC's Bed of Roses and a regular spot on Comedy Inc. His television credits include Channel Nine's 20 to 1 and The Project, alongside acting parts in House Husbands and Upper Middle Bogan. A four-year run co-hosting Fox FM's breakfast show with Fifi Box ended in 2017, and the following year he took over the AFL quiz show The Beep Test on Fox Footy for two seasons. His 2019 national tour, Lean Into It, sold out venues across the country, building on stand-up work at university circuits that had already earned him Campus Comedian of the Year in 2006.
