Dead Head Redemption

Dead Head Redemption are a trio from the Tinchi Tamba wetlands of Warra, north of Meanjin, and they play something they call swampcore. That means dark country blues with folk, rock, rockabilly and gospel folded through it, which is exactly as murky and atmospheric as it sounds. Music with real character to it, and a genuine sense of place. Not many bands have coined their own genre and actually earned it.
