Demolition Sunday - Hervey Bay

Demolition Sunday is a four-piece from Hervey Bay sitting somewhere between the atmosphere of post-rock and the heavier pull of grunge and alt-rock from the 90s and 2000s. Big drums and layered guitar build a full wall of sound across covers of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Tool, Creed and Stone Temple Pilots. Red Hot Chili Peppers, plus Faith No More and 3 Doors Down, carry the alt-rock end of the set, while Blur, Green Day and The Living End shift things toward a faster punk and indie-pop feel. Arrangements stay full rather than stripped back across the whole set.
