Deniel Sarmiento works as a dancer, contortionist and choreographer, and takes on movement direction as well. Contortion is a specific and demanding discipline, and it reads very differently up close than it does on a screen. Pairing it with choreography and direction means the same person can both perform the piece and shape it.
