About this act
Derby plays bars, restaurants and clubs, and will work to a brief rather than imposing a sound on the room. The crate is deep and a little left of centre: electronic, balearic, downtempo, disco, breaks, acid, dub, deep house, boogie, soul, funk and jazz. That's a DJ who can hold a dinner service and then take the same room somewhere else after ten. Useful for venues that need one person across a long night with several moods in it.
