DJ Atman

A DJ Atman set doesn't stay behind the decks. Alongside electronic tracks and his own productions, including material from his album NOMAD, he brings live percussion, didgeridoo and bass into the mix, so the set turns into something closer to a live performance. The base is minimal and deep house from Berlin's underground and the scenes of Germany, the Netherlands and Prague. Over the top come Turkish, Middle Eastern, Indian, Balkan and Latin rhythms and melodies. Deep, hypnotic and easy to dance to, it moves between cultures without settling on one genre. He's based at Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast.
