DJ Bassel

DJ Basel plays tabla live over his own sets, which is not something most DJs can offer. He works across Arabic, deep house and fusion, layering hand percussion over the mix so there's an actual performance happening rather than just a playlist running. Based in Sydney and speaks both Arabic and English, which helps at weddings where the room does too. Bookings cover weddings, private parties, corporate functions and club nights, with sets typically running five to seven hours. Professional sound system supplied, and drums, accordion, sax and lighting can be brought in depending on what the event needs.
