Not many DJs will grab a microphone mid-set and sing over the mix. DJ Becks does, and MCs as well, which turns a standard DJ booking into something closer to a live show. The set leans on 80s and 90s favourites, R&B, hip hop, dance and house, with guitar and acoustic songs available for the quieter parts of the night. Brisbane based and comfortable in any venue, from corporate functions to birthdays and weddings, DJ Becks plays across cultures and age groups and will work with you beforehand to pin down the feel you're after. All that's needed on the day is power, a table for the decks and shelter for the gear.
