Seventeen years DJing, eleven of them as a video DJ. Reggae is DJ Peta's earliest musical memory, then gangsta rap and hip hop in the 90s thanks to two older brothers, and from there back into the funk, soul and disco that hip hop was built on. That lineage runs through everything he plays. Dr. Dre is his favourite producer and DJ Jazzy Jeff is the idol, which tells you what he values behind the decks. Perth based.
