DJ Pex plays vinyl only, and the records themselves are the point. Jazz, Latin, disco, house, techno and world music, much of it rare and obscure, a good deal of it dug out of the musical history of the former Yugoslavia. He was born in Serbia and the collection reflects it. A set is genuinely a journey through grooves most audiences have never heard, which makes him a different proposition from a DJ playing what's charting. Perth based.
