Vinyl only, and genre-hopping by design: Perth-based DJ Pex works across a catalogue that spans jazz through to Latin, disco, house, techno and world music. Serbian-born, the sets draw in part on rare records pulled from the former Yugoslavia's musical history, giving the selection a harder-to-find character than a standard digital set. A vinyl-only approach and a focus on less common pressings shape both the sound and the pace of a night, favouring depth of selection over a predictable Top 40 run.
