More than 20 years in the field have made DJ Swami Adima one of the busiest DJs in Western Australia's South West, a reputation built during the region's flourishing dance music scene in the early 1990s. A stint followed at Dunsborough's Coconut Club, and that venue's name later carried over to a stage Adima runs at the Southbound Festival, an event drawing around 20,000 people to Busselton each January. Beyond playing sets, Adima also books a roster of other Western Australian DJs and manages stage logistics for the festival. Margaret River and the surrounding South West region remain the main base for bookings.
