Django Rhythm is a jazz band from Melbourne, Victoria.
Another Melbourne act built entirely around gypsy jazz, splitting its set into straight jazz standards and a separate block of French and gypsy material. Honeysuckle Rose and Sweet Georgia Brown anchor the standards side, while Belleville, Brazil and C'est Si Bon carry the French set. How High the Moon and Night and Day sit comfortably in between. It's a narrower, more specialist repertoire than a general jazz band, built around one particular guitar-led tradition rather than a broad songbook.
