Dominic Martin

Dominic Martin has been singing folk songs for decades, to rooms of every size including living rooms. His view is that ten people is enough to count as a proper house concert, and that's not a joke about small crowds. It's about how the music works best. The repertoire covers Australian songs alongside Irish, Scottish and American folk, plus quality ballads old and new. He plays fingerstyle on a Spanish guitar, acoustically, and has rarely used a microphone. A set usually runs about 75 minutes. He'll also play guitar as a quiet backdrop to a social gathering. Based in Melbourne.
