Don Mai is a singer-songwriter.
Acoustic guitar or piano carries most of Don Mai's writing, the two instruments he finds most enjoyable to work with. Rather than aim at a fixed genre, Don lets each song's mood decide its own shape, built around a strong hook and an acoustic core. Ed Sheeran, Jon Bellion and Ryan Tedder sit among his influences. A full band line-up is available alongside the solo set, giving the songs room to grow beyond the original acoustic arrangement.
