Don's Party

Four members of R.D.O., one of Melbourne's standout 80s bands, got back together after more than 35 years apart and found the chemistry was still there. Don Hailes, Mark Webb, John Hutton and Rick Fowler are the core of Don's Party. Two more were added to make it a six-piece: Gabrielle Parbo, a lead vocalist who has fronted a Carole King tribute show, and Craig Smith, a singer and multi-instrumentalist with decades on stage. The band's motto is "Get 'em dancing, get 'em singing, get 'em thirsty", and their Bums Off Seats sessions are built around 70s and 80s rock, dancefloor favourites and singalong anthems, with big harmonies out front. They bring their own PA, lighting and sound management, and they're insured. Based in Frankston, they work pubs, clubs, weddings, corporate events, private functions, festivals and outdoor events.
