Six decades of party songs, played by a Perth band whose members have spent years on stages here and overseas. DOWNTOWN works weddings, private functions, charity balls and corporate nights, and the repertoire stretches from the newest floor fillers back to the ones everyone in the room already knows. Standard line-up is four pieces, with five or six available. Practical detail worth knowing: allow two hours for the band to set up when a PA and sound engineer are already on site, or four if they're bringing the sound and lighting themselves. A stage around 4.5 by 6.5 metres suits them best. They carry public liability and professional indemnity cover.
