Dublin Rose is a cover band from Brisbane, Queensland.
An upbeat, playful style runs through Dublin Rose's music, built around the indie-pop genre and led from Brisbane by relatable lyrics and a strong ear for storytelling. A three-piece backing band, Jake, Pat and Sami, joined the act this year as part of QUT's Vermilion Records, adding new depth to a set of acoustic songs written before the group came together. Winning QUT's Battle of the Bands in July capped a year of growth for the act, and the songwriting and guitar work stay at the centre of every set.
