Upbeat, playful indie pop with lyrics that people actually recognise themselves in. Dublin Rose is a Brisbane singer, songwriter and guitarist signed to QUT's Vermilion Records, and this year she picked up a backing band of three, Jake, Pat and Sami, who have filled out what were acoustic songs. In July they won the QUT Battle of the Bands. Brisbane based. Available as a full band now, and the storytelling is the thing that holds a room.
