Orchestras, jazz bands, choirs and rock groups. Dylan has played in all of them, around Brisbane and elsewhere in Australia, which is an unusual spread for one musician and a useful one. It means the solo acoustic show has more than one kind of training behind it. The set mixes his own original songs with covers that lean rootsy rather than radio, so it suits a room that wants live music with some substance to it instead of background noise.
