Jazz, jazz blues and jazz funk are his ground, built on improvisation and the kind of ensemble playing that changes shape as it goes. He plays across multiple instruments, so the line-ups he puts together can be shaped to whatever the room needs, from a quiet jazz set to something with a lot more funk in it.
