Seven players, Cairns, funk and disco played properly. EarthKin puts Naurtia Briscoe and Terina Akasha out front on lead vocals, with Luke Briscoe on lead guitar, Ben Hakalitz on drums, Stephen Maxwell on keys, Mario Conde Cuarita on sax and flute and Timmy Wason on bass. Trumpet and violin players get pulled in when a song needs them. The set is Superstition, Use Me, Lady Marmalade, Brick House, Let's Groove, September, Get Lucky, with a few originals folded through it. Two 45-minute sets is the standard shape. They'll need a full PA and four mics, and a drum kit if the gig is outside Cairns.
