Eazy Peas

Party 45s on the turntables have been DJ Peas' preferred format for twenty-five years, a Perth act built around genre-hopping across groove-based styles: funk and disco, Afro and house, plus beats, reggae, dub and jungle. Alongside DJing, Peas co-founded a long-running program on the local airwaves, The Soul Purpose Radio Show, presented together with Tim King. The vinyl format keeps the sets rooted rather than chasing whatever's newest, with the genre mix shifting through a set instead of holding on one sound.
