More than a decade behind the decks already, and Ed Kent has spent it building a deep, considered style rather than chasing the obvious record. He's a DJ and producer working out of Fitzroy, and his digging has taken him well beyond Australia: he's played Manchester's Warehouse Project and RSO in Berlin, two rooms that don't book on hype.
