Guitars, bass and vocal harmonies, with the groove doing most of the talking. Kaz Davies works out of Newcastle and covers a lot of ground: Latin, soul, Oz Rock and a fair bit of 1970s and 1980s material. The line-up flexes from solo to duo to trio depending on the room. The family side of the work is where things get interesting. Soft-sounding instruments get handed out to kids and grandparents alike, so the audience ends up playing along instead of just watching. That comes from real experience running early childhood group music classes, and it shows. Easy listening for the little ones, still enough substance for everyone else. Community gigs come with a full tower PA, mixing desk, amps and microphones.
