Ego

A French DJ and producer, Ego works around techno, acid and other underground electronic sound, based in Darwin. Sets are built to hold a room across long stretches, moving through carefully sequenced tracks rather than jumping between styles. Both club nights and festival stages have hosted this act, working from the same underground catalogue at either scale. The sound itself sits firmly in the European techno lineage it grew out of, carried into an Australian club circuit that doesn't hear it often.
