Australian born, Latino raised, and digging for records for more than ten years. El Fuentes came up through the foundations of hip hop and followed the family tree from there into funk, soul, boogie and house. He also works part time at Northside Records in Fitzroy, which is where the depth of the collection comes from. Everything he plays is chosen to communicate soul to soul, and that is a real filter rather than a slogan.
