About this act
A kora is a 21 string harp from West Africa. An mbira is a Shona thumb piano. Put both against electric cello and electro-acoustic percussion and you get ElectricKoraLand, a Perth trio whose sound comes out earthy and airy at the same time. It works as a quiet centre in the middle of a busy event, the sort of set people drift toward and then lose an hour to. Suited to festivals, concerts, corporate events and private functions.
