About this act
Elevation Band works from Brisbane and plays hundreds of events a year, which is the sort of volume that irons out surprises. Behind the scenes they're methodical about song choice, matching the set to your taste and your crowd. On stage they're loose, and they lead the good times by having them first. The line-up scales from a soloist up to eight pieces, with male and female singers, drums, bass, acoustic and electric guitars, keys and live brass, so a canape-hour acoustic duo and a full reception band can come from the same booking. Songs run from Ed Sheeran, Vance Joy and John Legend through to Nat King Cole and Bob Marley. Audio and basic lighting come with them for events up to about 300 guests. They need mains power, a flat solid surface, and cover for the gear if the weather turns.
