Melvis the Elvis

Melvis the Elvis doesn't do the all-night slog. He arrives, the white jumpsuit appears, and 30 minutes later the room is still talking about it. The set is built on the big band Elvis numbers plus the standards: That's Alright Mama, Hound Dog, Heartbreak Hotel, A Little Less Conversation, Viva Las Vegas, Kentucky Rain, Suspicious Minds, Can't Help Falling In Love. Afterwards he sticks around for photos and a dance. Fifteen years doing this, including a stint as the resident Elvis at Movie World on the Gold Coast and recognition at the Parkes Elvis Festival. Setup is a portable speaker and a radio mic, so he can appear from nowhere. Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson sets can be added after a costume change, and he'll do singing DJ work across a whole evening. Based in Albury.
