Fire dragon staff, fire fans and rope dart after dark. Silks, LED props and pole through the day. Emily Jane covers a lot of ground as a Melbourne circus and fire performer, with lyra, handstand balancing and burlesque in the mix too. A fire booking runs three ten-minute burns across different props, with fuel, costuming, safety equipment and a safety person included, plus time to mingle afterwards. Pole sets run fifteen minutes. Fire needs a flat outdoor patch of at least two metres square with nothing hanging overhead, and the weather gets a say on the day. Roving work fits almost any space.
