Emo Majok is a Melbourne stand-up comic with a decent shelf of trophies behind him. He took out the Victorian final of Raw Comedy in 2018 and went on to the national final that same year, won Ultimate Funniest Comedian in 2019 and Comedian of the Year at the Comics Lounge in 2021, made the finals of Australia's Got Talent in 2022, and picked up Best Interstate Act at the Comics Lounge during the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Set-up is about as simple as comedy gets: a microphone and a stand. The material is built around the room and the event rather than pulled off a shelf.
