Spinning staffs, dragon staff, fans and a pixel whip, either lit up or on fire. Emzi is a Perth-based LED and fire performance artist working out of Leederville, doing both roving sets and staged performances. The LED props are the ones for after dark; the day props come out for daylight and well-lit rooms. Routines are put together around the client's music and the theme of the event, and Emzi will dress to match. Roving means working the crowd one on one. Sets run 30 minutes or an hour. Fire work needs a sectioned-off area or a 2m by 2m platform, and a dedicated safety person is always on hand. Fully.
