Enigma Strings - NSW

Based in Sydney

About this act

Enigma Strings - NSW is a string ensemble from Sydney, New South Wales.

A Sydney string ensemble built for ceremony music, Enigma Strings structures its repertoire around the stages of a wedding rather than one continuous set. The entrance section offers Pachelbel's Canon and Wagner's Bridal Chorus, the signing of the register brings quieter pieces including a Bach piece written for the G string, and the recessional turns to grander works including Handel's Water Music Suite. A separate list of pieces for before and after the ceremony, among them Vivaldi's Four Seasons, extends the repertoire further still.
