The Inland Navigators

Fiddle and concertina carry the tunes in The Inland Navigators, supported by guitar, bass and Eric Pellinkhof's lagerphone. The Sydney bush band began in 1981 for a production of Reedy River and went on to perform at dances, themed events and tourist venues. Australian songs tell stories of shearers, stockmen and early Sydney, alongside tunes with Celtic, European and American roots. Group vocals and dance calling make audience participation part of the band's traditional music programme.
