Inka Marka

Inka Marka is a Melbourne group performing traditional and contemporary music from the Andes. Panflutes and quena combine with guitar, charango and violin, moving between lively songs and quieter melodies. The group began with Jose Diaz Rodriguez, Orlando Arias and Michel Bestrin before expanding its lineup and moving to Melbourne. Its performance history includes folk festivals, cultural celebrations and international appearances, alongside educational activities introducing audiences to South American music.
