Buzz and the Blues Band

Robert 'Buzz' Oxford fronts this Brisbane blues band with a gravelly voice and a repertoire built largely around his own songs. Familiar blues pieces sit alongside the originals, with the supporting musicians giving the writing a full band setting. Buzz also works as a solo performer, but this show puts his vocals and songwriting at the centre of an ensemble. The music draws on a long involvement in live blues and recording.
