Van Larkins

Van Larkins layers bass lines, rhythm and melody into solo fingerstyle guitar performances. Based in Redcliffe, the musician also known as Owen Van Larkins draws on several musical traditions, including arrangements of early harp music. His experience includes touring in New Zealand and North America and performing at the Canadian Guitar Festival. Alongside concerts and recording, he has presented workshops for music students, sharing an approach that gives one acoustic guitar several musical roles.
