Changó

Changó performs salsa, Cuban son and Latin jazz with singers, horns and a percussion section. The Sydney group can play as a quintet or expand to 11 musicians, combining trumpet and trombone with timbales, bongos and congas. The musicians also perform in smaller acoustic groups and larger show formats. A salsa lesson can be included with the music. The band has performed at festivals, harbour cruises and corporate functions, with the selection of songs arranged around the event.
