Afternoon Jazz Collective

Afternoon Jazz Collective began in Brisbane in 2009, bringing together four Conservatorium students. Tamara O'Callaghan sings with Ben Knibb on saxophones, Nick Hunter on keyboards and BJ Perry on upright bass. Their repertoire combines jazz ballads, swing and jazz arrangements of popular songs. The quartet concentrates on small and medium-sized functions, using its acoustic ensemble format to provide music that can sit comfortably alongside conversation and other event activities.
