Showko

Showko is a Japanese-born comedian based in Elwood, Melbourne, working in ventriloquism and rakugo, Japan's seated storytelling comedy tradition. Her performances feature handmade puppets, character voices and an offbeat sense of humour. A finalist on Australia's Got Talent, she has worked internationally in comedy clubs, theatres, festivals, television and cruise entertainment. Showko also offers MC and speaking appearances, drawing on her experience across several countries to adapt her comedy and presentation to different audiences.
