Painter Gals

Painter Gals is a South Brisbane duo combining clowning, music and circus with the tools of a painting crew. Brushes, buckets, overalls and a colour chart become props for body percussion, passing juggling, character dance and audience interaction. The two performers build their scenes around the possibility that a straightforward painting job might go wrong. Their background includes an appearance at Valley Fiesta, where their playful theatre engaged younger visitors as part of the festival programme.
