Pronk Puppets creates imagined creatures from recycled and previously used materials. Based in Reservoir, the project brings aliens, unusual beasts and otherworldly characters into contact with audiences through live puppetry. Its designs explore beings that seem unfamiliar at first but share recognisable traits with people. Guests are invited to meet and interact with the creatures, making the encounter part of the performance. The work combines character creation with a resourceful approach to building puppets from discarded materials.
