Turnpage formed in western Sydney in 2006, bringing a hard rock edge to its original music. James and Jason share guitar and vocal roles, with Alan on bass and vocals and Andre on drums. The 4 piece developed its live set through appearances at venues including the Hopetoun Hotel and the Excelsior in Surry Hills. Its sound combines the weight of a guitar band with songs intended to reach beyond a narrow heavy rock audience.
