About this act
La Boom combines three dancers with three drummers in a roving performance built around African percussion and dance. Created by Simon Lewis and Mitzi McRae, the Melbourne act uses coordinated routines, colourful costumes and audience participation. The six performers appear at festivals and special events, bringing live rhythm and movement into the crowd.
