Judd Brennand leads Schmaltz, a Lismore band whose repertoire moves between swing, bossa nova, soul and blues. The group can perform as a duo or expand to five musicians, with piano, saxophone, bass and drums supporting Judd's vocals. Its Northern Rivers performance history includes festivals, weddings and community events. Judd received the male vocal award at the 2006 NCEIA Dolphin Awards and brings stage, television and radio experience to the band.
