Coogee Bay Road Band mixes original songs with rock covers, drawing on blues and Eastern European folk influences. Slava leads the group on guitar and harmonica and writes much of its material. Joe adds keyboards and vocals, Fox plays bass, and Peter handles drums, with singing shared across the band. Based in Coogee, the group also performs songs associated with Queen, Dire Straits and AC/DC. Its original music places particular emphasis on connected stories, melodies and harmonies.
