The Flirting Mazurkas

Melbourne ensemble The Flirting Mazurkas centre on singer and guitarist Jen Hawley and multi-instrumentalist Phil Carroll. Accordion, piano and flute join the guitar and vocals, with violin, bass or drums available in expanded line-ups. Their repertoire draws from European cafe music, jazz, Latin styles and folk traditions, including French and Italian songs. The musicians have performed for weddings, private parties and corporate functions, as well as in roving and venue settings.
